We are looking for Magento developers to work in the team or lead a team of other developers, contribute to the development of the technical specifications for the team, contribute to the architecture of the solution, organise the work of the team to ensure the velocity and quality by mentoring the team members, distributing the work according to the skill and experience levels, organising the code reviews and quality controls.
Responsibilities:
Build e-commerce applications;
Maintain existing PHP code;
Optimize MySQL queries;
Customize Magento’s front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates;
Author and extend Magento extensions;
Develop custom PHP solutions; and
Knowledge of bug and feature tracking systems such as Jira;
Actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness and functionality of customized systems.
Experience:
2+ years experience with Magento.
Competency in programming in template driven PHP and MVC architecture.
Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, XHTML, CSS & Javascript.
Experience with project based work.
